- 1 cup rolled oats, gluten free (I like this brand)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 cup coconut yogurt (homemade recipe here)
- 2 cups fresh or frozen mango
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tbsp baobab powder (I like this brand)
Prepare the oats by stirring in 1/2 cup water and the tsp of lemon juice (to aid digestion) and letting that mixture sit either overnight in the refrigerator or on the counter for 15 minutes. Once time is up, do not rinse the oats, just add to the other smoothie ingredients (except the yogurt) and blend until smooth. Pour in a bowl, and top with a swirl of yogurt, hemp hearts and fruit! Chilling this smoothie makes it taste brighter. Enjoy!
