Turmeric, you’ll recognize it as an oft-used ingredient in Indian food, is a major heavyweight as an inflammatory agent, but also high in antioxidants, manganese, iron, and mysterious ingredients that help ease digestion issues, as well as help you relax, unwind, and enjoy life. Not kidding!
PROCESS: Drop rolled oats and liquid into high-speed blender (I use a Blendtec), and blend until smooth. Add a bit more liquid if need be to achieve a smooth consistency with the oats. Add in the zucchini, pears and spices and blend again. Top with coconut cream and toppings of choice. Enjoy!
- 1 cup frozen zucchini
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup nut milk or coconut water
- 1 cup frozen pears
- 2 tsp powdered Turmeric
- 1 tsp peeled ground Ginger
- Optional toppings: Coconut cream, chia seeds,buckwheat groats, berries and hazelnuts.
