Chocolate Avocado Mousse No-Bake Biscuit Tarts.
This dessert is so easy and a show-stopper for any dinner party or brunch. Just mix up the no-bake tart, freeze or chill, mix up the no cook mousse and spiral it on using a basic frosting bag with a star icing tip (1M Wilton), for a dramatic presentation.
And so healthy!
The rolled oats, buckwheat or almond flour and coconut oil each put unique nutritional benefits in the tart, and the cacao and avo in the mousse, adds even more healthy additions.
All together, you have a rich, creamy, chilled dessert that will make you feel great with protein, fiber and magnesium and antioxidants!
Chocolate Avocado Mousse No-Bake Biscuit Tarts
- 1 cup gluten-free rolled oats
- 1 cup almond flour or buckwheat flour for a nut-free option
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- pinch of salt
To make the biscuit tarts
Blend ingredients until the batter is sticky enough to press into tart pans. Add a bit of plant milk if the mix is too crumbly.
Freeze the tarts while you make the filling.
To make the mousse filling
Blend all ingredients, pour into frosting bags, and pipe into a spiral on the tarts.
Refrigerate until ready to serve; eat within 24 hours.
