How to make beetroot juice that is sweet and tangy, refreshing with no earthy flavor and easy to make in a blender or a juicer! This homemade beet juice recipe boosts energy lowers blood pressure and helps with weight loss as well as many other benefits.

Prep
Prepare beets. Chop off the greens, rub dirt off beets and rinse well. Use a paring knife or a potato peeler to scrap off top skin. Chop the beets into small pieces, enough to fill 1 cup.
Blanche beets. Drop the beet chunks into a pot of boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and drop them into a bowl of cold water.
Prepare other ingredients. Wash the grapes, peel the orange, and wash the ginger root, and chop.
Make beet juice with juicer
Add all ingredients to your juicer.
1 cup beet, raw and chopped, ½ cup green grapes, ¼ cup orange, peeled, 2 tablespoon ginger root, chopped
Process the juicer and you have your juice.
Make beet juice with blender
Add all ingredients to your blender jar, plus ⅓ cup of water. More water can be added if your blender needs it to process.
1 cup beet, raw and chopped, ½ cup green grapes, ¼ cup orange, peeled, 2 tablespoon ginger root, chopped, ⅓ cup water
Process the blender, and pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer. Press on the pulp with the back of a spoon to get all the juice out. The juice you collect is your beet juice.
Drink your fresh beet juice immediately over ice, or store in the refrigerator, or freeze in ice cube trays for long term storage.

This recipe makes 1 cup of beetroot juice, or 8 ounce, in a blender. Maybe more or less in a juicer or depending on the water content of your fruit.
This recipe makes 1 cup of juice, but it's thick so could easily be doubled by adding a cup of water if you prefer a thinner juice.
Don't skip blanching. Blanching is important to clear the raw beets of any residual dirt or bacteria, and to soften them, especially important when blending to avoid a grainy texture to your juice.
If using a blender, it needs to be a high-speed blender. Or you could break down the mixture in a food processor without the water, and then use a blender with the water addition.
The beet juice pulp can be discarded or add to smoothies for extra fiber.
