This homemade orange juice with a blender, a refreshing orange juice plus made in minutes with asplash of grapefruit juice, and fresh thyme. This is the best way how to make orange juice without a bitter taste.
¼cupgrapefruit sectionsor not-from-concentrate juice
2thyme sprigs, fresh
pinchsalt
Instructions
Microwave the oranges one at a time for 15 seconds. Peel them and add to a blender.
Either peel a grapefruit and add 2 sections to a blender, or use ½ cup grapefruit juice.
Blend the juice for 1 minute.
Pour the juice through a fine mesh strainer, and collect the liquid as your juice.
Refrigerate the pulp in ice cube trays to add to smoothies and soups.
Enjoy the juice right away for optimum nutrition.

The fresh juice can be refrigerated for 2 days but nutrition declines as it ages.Be sure to microwave and roll the oranges to increase the juice within.Seeded oranges are fine since you'll be straining the juice.
