Blend again for a minute or so to get a foamy texture, and pour into ice cube trays. I filled two with this recipe.
Freeze about 2-4 hours.
Blend the nearly frozen cubes into a slush. Pour and enjoy with whipped cream.
Short-cut Version
Allow the cocoa you made to cool, then blend with 3 cups of ice. This version will be waterier.
Notes
1. Be sure you love the taste of your hot chocolate before you go through the work and waiting of freezing it. Warm it and taste it and adjust to the flavors you want.2. Make sure your hot chocolate is sufficiently cooled before blending. You don't want to put a hot mixture into your blender or it could explode.3. Make sure your hot chocolate doesn't freeze too long, certainly not overnight. You want to be able to blend it into a slush.
