Adragon fruit smoothie with yogurt, a blend of the unusual spiked tropical fruit pitaya along with creamy yogurt and lime juice. An energizing, bright pink smoothie, perfect for both adults and kids for breakfast or snack.
Make sure at least the dragon fruit and mango is chopped and frozen.
1 cup dragon fruit, cubed and frozen, 1 cup mango, frozen
Add ingredients to a blender and process until just smooth. Don't blend too long or the blender motor will melt the smoothie.
1 cup dragon fruit, cubed and frozen, 1 cup mango, frozen, ¼ cup kiwis, ¾ cup dairy free milk or coconut water, 2 tablespoon lime juice, ¼ cup yogurt
This smoothie can be stored in the refrigerator for 2 days. It may separate into layers so you'll have to stir it up. Or pour smoothie into ice cube trays and re-blend when you are ready to drink.
1.Since dragon fruit is mild in flavor and sweetness, it's best to blend an equal amount of a flavorful fruit such as mango, or pineapple. Since this second fruit also serves as the thickener, a banana works as well.2.Freeze as many ingredients as possible for a frosty milkshake texture. 3.If you can't find frozen pink dragon fruit, you can usually find fresh dragon fruit with white meat. It tastes the same. You would peel it, and freeze the white meat and use just as you would the frozen pink dragon fruit.
