Watermelon fruit pizza is a sweet healthy treat with thick watermelon slices topped with yogurt and fruit, a wonderful way to celebrate this summer fruit.
Using a sharp knife, cut the ends of a round baby watermelon, around 6-inches in diameter. Then cut the remaining center into 4 slices about 1-inch thick. Scoop the ends and eat the melon or save.
4 slices watermelon, 4 teaspoon lemon juice
Regarding the slices, use a spoon to spread a bit of lemon juice on one side of each slice.
Prepare fruit for toppings. Slice berries in half. Slice apples and melons into slivered slices, peel citrus and clean slices of white pith. Chop pineapple, dragon fruit and mango into small dice.
Top watermelon slices
Slather yogurt on the lemon juice side, leaving an inch of space at the edge, including the rind, to leave a finger hold.

Spread fruit pieces in the yogurt, distributing evenly.

Refrigerated. Watermelon pizza is best eaten right away because the fruits on top will vary in how long they will last, but I have covered my slices in plastic wrap and refrigerated for a day successfully.Frozen. It can be frozen a week or so fully topped as long as it is fully sealed, but how it looks once thawed depends on the yogurt you used, and how the fruits fared frozen.

1. Choose a ripe watermelon to be sure the meat is sweet. A ripe watermelon will sound hollow when you knock on it. It will have a yellow spot were it sat ripening, and it will have a dull shell, an indication of sugar content.2. Be sure the knife is a very sharp, and long enough to create evenly surfaced watermelon slices.3. Use chilled watermelon, yogurt and fruits to start because once you top the watermelon pizza, it needs to be served right away and it tastes best chilled.4. Add a touch of lemon juice before the yogurt level to help keep the watermelon crispy. However, if you prefer a sweeter watermelon flavor, you can leave it off.5.
