Gather Ingredients 1 head of cauliflower olive oil spices

Step 1: Strip the leaves off the cauliflower. Add it head-side down into a bowl of water with lemon juice to remove any bugs or germs imbedded in the vegetable.

Step 2: Rinse the soaked head and slice into 1-inch slices. If some crumble, just roast them as well along with the slices.

Step 3: Mix the spices with the oil and brush or use a spoon to coat both sides of each cauliflower slice.

Step 4: Add the coated slices to a parchment lined pan and put in the oven to roast.
