Step 1: Stir up ingredients in a bowl with a spoon or hand-mixer.

Step 2: Add batter to a piping bag and pipe into donut pan wells. I added cinnamon so my batter is darker; but without the spice, it is quite light.

Step 3: Bake donuts and allow them to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then dump them out and cool completely on a rack before coating with sugar.

Step 4: Mix up sugar coating and dip donuts. Don't butter the donuts, the coating will stick without it.

Step 5: Store one day at room temperature, then refrigerate. You may have to re-coat if they dampen and sugar melts. Freeze uncoated only.
