Step 1: Rinse oats. Whenever you want to eat rolled oats uncooked, its a good idea to rinse them in a strainer first under running cold water to remove phytic acid - this will improve digestion of the oats.

Step 2: Add rinsed oats and all other ingredients except the milk into a container. I used a 16 ounce breakfast oats jar with lid linked in my blog post.

Step 3: Stir in milk last to see if you need more or less.

Step 4: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
