This homemade strawberry ice cream is frosty, sweet and creamy, made easily with frozen bananas and with a spicy twist, cardamom spice that injects a flavor that will make you remember and remember and yearn for this ice cream for days to come.
Blend up 2 cups of the strawberries and bananas and spices, adding a few tablespoons of nut milk ONLY if your blender insists. The consistency will be that of soft-serve.
Mash up the other cup of strawberries with a fork, put on bottom of jar, and pour your fresh ice cream on top.
I topped ours with coconut chips, cacao nibs and popped quinoa and granola. Eat fast, see how fast it melts! This picture was the first one I took!
Notes
Swaps! Feel free to swap the bananas out for equal amounts of white beans (canned, bpa-free, organic, drained), or frozen zucchini. With the last two, taste-test for sweetness. Oh, and mango works too but can actually make it too sweet.
