Black bean brownie bites are no bake, fiber-packed and 5 ingredients. These fudge bites are easy to make, high in protein and the best healthy chocolate treat free of refined sugar.
Prep: Open the can of black beans. Drain off the brine by pouring the can into a strainer. Rinse with water. Line a bowl with a paper towel. Pour the beans in the bowl, pat them dry with a paper towel.
Add the black beans, peanut butter, maple syrup, and cocoa powder to a food processor or blender.
½ can black beans, unsalted, ¼ cup cocoa, 3 tablespoon peanut butter, 2 tablespoon maple syrup
Blend until completely creamy and smooth.
Press brownie batter into mold, filling wells halfway.
Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir in the milk until smooth. Add to a frosting bag and pipe on top of each bite.
½ cup chocolate chips, 2 tablespoon milk
Freeze until firm, about 1 hour.
Notes
Keep your no-bake brownies in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months. Rinse beans thoroughly to completely remove brine and avoid any bean flavor.
