This creamy vanilla date smoothie, or salted caramel milkshake, is loaded with healthy fats and lots of fiber using 6 ingredients that reduce inflammation, nurtures your gut and supports skin health.
1cupmilkI used dairy free almond milk, any milk works
½tablespoonvanilla
⅛teaspoonsalt
Optional
1teaspooncinnamon or pumpkin pie spices
1-3tablespoonmilk if needed to blend
Instructions
Soak the dates in just boiled water for 5 minutes.
3 dates, soaked and pitted
Add all ingredients to a blender.
½ cup cauliflower, riced and frozen, ½ cup yogurt, 2 tablespoon rolled oats, 2 tablespoon chia seeds, ½ tablespoon vanilla, ⅛ teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon cinnamon or pumpkin pie spices, 1-3 tablespoon milk if needed to blend, 3 dates, soaked and pitted
Blend for 1 minutes.
Pour into a glass, top with foamed milk or whipped cream, dust with spices.
