Step 1: Add all ingredients to a bowl. You can use date paste instead of maple syrup, or even honey if you don't need the recipe to be vegan.

Step 2: Stir the mixture until it is as creamy as you see here. Add a touch of milk if yours is dryer - or flour if yours is too wet.

Step 3: Fold in mini chocolate chips, or leave them off, they are optional.

Step 4: Add the mixture to ice cube trays or a mold. To make this easy, I use frosting bags or use a ziplock bag with the corner snipped. Or just spoon it.

Step 5: Freeze the cubes until solid - mine took about 2 hours. Then pop them out and melt the chocolate to dip them.

Step 6: Dip each cube - they are cold so the chocolate coating should stick and solidify fast. I lowered each cube into the melted chocolate with a fork.
