Collect Ingredients peanut butter cocoa chocolate chips dates salt Dates are refined sugar free, don't spike blood sugar and have other benefits. Read my recipe post to find more. Find them in a container in produce section.

Step 1: Soak the dates for 2 minutes in just-boiled water. Rip open each date and remove pit. Add to a food processor.

Step 2: Add the rest of ingredients including melted chocolate chips.

Step 3: Process the batter until combined about 1 minute. I used a food processor but it can probably be stirred in a bowl. Tap to my recipe for more details.

Step 4: Press the mixture into a parchment-lined loaf pan. Level with a spoon.

Step 5: Melt chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir and pour melted chocolate on top of pressed brownie mixture.Chill to set.

Step 5: Slice these new brownies. For clean slices, run a knife under hot tap water, dry it, and use it to cut. This recipe makes a loaf pan of brownies. Cut into 6-8 pieces. Wrap each and freeze.  Tap for the recipe!
