Make a healthy and inexpensive iced blueberry latte, or blueberry coffee, at home with fresh blueberry, milk and coffee. No additives, no refined sugar. This blueberry and coffee drink is ready in minutes with no special equipment.
Make fresh brewed coffee or use my coffee syrup. My coffee syrup is sweetened with coconut sugar (unrefined).
Make blueberry puree
Wash fresh blueberries or use frozen blueberries. To wash them, soak fresh blueberries in 1 part vinegar and 4 parts water for 5 minutes.
Squish them with a fork or blend them briefly into a puree.
Assemble Iced Blueberry Latte
Spoon the blueberry puree onto the bottom, then fill the glass halfway with ice.
½ cup blueberries, pureed, ½ cup ice
Fill the glass halfway with milk. Pour on coffee, either as freshly brewed coffee or use homemade coffee syrup.
1 cup milk, ¼ cup liquid coffee
Spoon on cold foam and enjoy cold, right away with or without a straw! You can also top with whipped cream if you prefer and drizzle with homemade chocolate sauce.
