Make a frosty raspberry smoothie is the prettiest anti-inflammatory smoothie, with a tart flavor and a beautiful bright pink color from raspberries, hydration from cucumbers, and creamy texture from yogurt.
This raspberry smoothie is bursting with anti-oxidants and anti-inflammation effects thanks to both raspberries and strawberries and creamy. And it is filling thanks to the yogurt and fruit and veggie fiber, and also extraordinarily hydrating, which leads to a healthier gut, better skin and a curbed appetite.
And this recipe is perfect for all diets, vegetarian, vegan, plant-based, dairy-free, and gluten-free.

Ingredients
Raspberries - use frozen, and use organic if possibly since all berries tend to absorb pesticides into their skin.
Strawberries - same here, use organic. Both berries are hyper strong in fiber and anti-inflammatory power.
Cucumber - also buy cucumber organic and choose the English version wrapped in the produce section as the skin will be less bitter. If you buy unwrapped cucumber, peel before using in this smoothie. Also zucchini works well and adds more fiber. Either cucumber or zucchini needs to be unpeeled (unless you use unwrapped cucumber, chopped and frozen before making the smoothie to ensure the smoothie is frosty.
Yogurt - I used cashew yogurt, but any will work. The more fat, the creamier the smoothie. Or freeze the yogurt in ice cube trays, and blend it like that to thicken their texture.
Pomegranate juice - to add vitamin C, as well as a fresh bite and accent the sweetness from the berries.

Step by Step Instructions
For more detail, visit the complete and printable recipe at the bottom of this post, but here are general steps.
Step 1: Freeze your milk in ice cube trays, and at least the raspberries. Freezing ensures a frosty texture.
Step 2: Blend all ingredients until smoothie. Drink the smoothie right away, or pour into ice cube trays and freeze until you are ready to blend again.
Two Expert Tips: Never add ice to a smoothie as it waters down flavor, texture and nutrition. Never add sugar to a smoothie, instead use dates, green grapes or pears.

Instead of pomegranate, use lime juice to enhance the anti-inflammatory effect.
Instead of cucumber, use zucchini.
Add other flavors. Try mint or basil for an herbal take. Or chopped fresh ginger will add detox power and a zingy taste.
Change out the smoothie flavor all together? Use mango instead of strawberries for a more melon like flavor.
