Make this creamy mango smoothie with cold foam easily with frozen mango, frozen pineapple, lemon juice, and coconut milk. No yogurt, no banana and no refined sugar is in this dairy free and vegan tropical mango smoothie. For a cafe-style treat, add a fluffy cold foam for a smoothie on top. Perfect any season, but especially hot summer days.

This mango smoothie with cold foam is summer in a jar thanks to mango, pineapple, lemon juice and a fluffy top made with aquafaba or ordinary cold foam.
This tangy mango smoothie is naturally sweetened with sweet mango, juicy pineapple, fresh lemon juice, and creamy coconut milk blend into a naturally refreshing smoothie. Skip the bananas and yogurt, and use dairy free milk instead.
The fluffy cold foam topping adds a fun coffeehouse-style finish. Choose frothed milk for a classic foam or whipped aquafaba (liquid in a chickpea can) for an easy vegan option.

Ingredients
- Mango: Fresh or frozen mango both work in this smoothie. Frozen mango creates a thicker, creamier texture, while fresh ripe mango gives the sweetest flavor. If using fresh mango, freeze the pineapple or milk so your smoothie stays cold and thick. One medium mango yields about 1 cup of chopped fruit.
- Pineapple: Pineapple adds tropical sweetness and bright flavor that pairs perfectly with mango. Use frozen pineapple for a thicker smoothie, or fresh pineapple if another ingredient is frozen.
- Lemon juice: Fresh lemon juice brightens the tropical fruit flavors and balances the natural sweetness of the mango and pineapple.
- Dairy Free Milk: Use coconut milk, or almond milk, oat milk or even soy milk. For the creamiest smoothie, freeze the milk in an ice cube tray the night before blending.
- Cold foam: Top the smoothie with fluffy cold foam made from frothed milk, dairy free milk, or even whipped aquafaba (the liquid from a can of unsalted chickpeas). Aquafaba creates a light, airy vegan foam similar to whipped egg whites, making this smoothie look and taste like a café-style drink.

How to Make Cold Foam for a Smoothie
Dairy Free Milk Cold Foam: Combine ¼ cup milk in a cup. Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice or pineapple juice. Froth until stiff using a hand held milk frother or electric mixer. High fat milks such as coconut milk, almond milk or cashew milk froth thicker.
Aquafaba Cold Foam: Strain ¼ cup aquafaba, the liquid from a can of chickpeas, into a cup. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to chill. Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice or pineapple juice. Froth until stiff using a hand held milk frother or electric mixer.
