Black bean brownie bites are high protein brownies that check all the boxes. They’re rich, chewy, and loaded with chocolate flavor. They are also naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free.

The secret? These are made with black beans! They blend seamlessly into the batter, adding plant-based protein and fiber without affecting the flavor. These vegan chocolate snacks are quick to make, freezer-friendly, and perfect for a grab-and-go dessert or healthy afternoon pick-me-up.

    Storage

Keep your no-bake brownies in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months. For the best texture, let them sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before eating.

    Recipe Tips

    • Use a silicone mold or lined mini cupcake pan so bites release easily.
    • Always freeze completely before removing from molds to keep their shape.
    • Rinse beans thoroughly to completely remove brine and avoid any bean flavor.

    FAQS

Can I make these no-bake brownies without peanut butter?

Yes! Use almond butter, cashew butter, or sunflower seed butter for a nut-free option.

Are black bean brownies actually healthy?

Absolutely. They’re naturally gluten-free, packed with fiber, and a great source of plant-based protein—making them a smart choice for a dessert or snack.

Will these vegan brownies taste like beans?

Nope! Once blended with cocoa powder and sweetener, the black bean flavor disappears, leaving you with rich, chocolatey bites.
