Starbucks dragon drink is a tropical fruit drink low calorie and lower in sugar than the store-bought version. It is made in your blender with real mango, coconut milk and dragonfruit and creates an iced 3-ingredient drink that is a spectacular pink.
Starbucks dragon drink is a popular tropical drink made at the famed coffee shop with coconut milk. Make the same drink only lower in calories and lower sugar at home using real fruits and refrigerated coconut milk. The result is a fresh tropical drink in the same gorgeous pink you'll get if you order at the store.
Do you want to add cold foam to your dragon drink? I have included that in the recipe below!
Why You'll Love This Recipe
Fresh & healthy ingredients. No need to use expensive powders or freeze dried fruits, or bottled syrups. They add carbs and chemicals; instead use fresh fruit and a coconut milk from the refrigerator section, not canned.
Easy with a blender. You can add your ingredients to a blender and pour over ice so your Starbucks copycat dragon drink is ready in minutes.
Lower in calories and sugar. This homemade dragon drink recipe contains 101 calories and 13 grams of sugar, while the store-bought Starbucks Dragon Drink using syrup contains far more of both. Also the sugar from the store-bought version is refined, while the sugar in this recipe is from the fruit, thus healthier because dragonfruit sugar is low GI and will not spike blood sugar.
Ingredients
Frozen Dragonfruit. I use frozen dragon fruit packets to have access to the pink dragon fruit. I live on the East Coast and we only have access to fresh white dragonfruit (pink shell but white inside). They taste the same, but the pink dragonfruits create that gorgeous pink color.
Mango. Use fresh or frozen.
Coconut milk. Use boxed or refrigerated version such as this one. I use a light version and add water to it. Don't use canned coconut milk, it is too thick and high in fat.
Lemon juice. To add a refreshing bright flavor. Lime juice also works.

Steps to Make Dragon Drink
For more detail, visit the complete recipe at the bottom of this post, but here are general steps.
Step 1: Add ingredients to a blender. You'll need two packets of the frozen pink dragonfruit.
Step 2: Blend for about 30 seconds. To thin out, add more coconut milk, or even water.
Step 3: Taste-test and if you want to a sweeter flavor, add white grapes and blend again, or add white grape juice to taste. Pour over ice and serve!
Dragon Drink vs Pink Drink
The difference between the dragon drink and the pink drink is that the dragon drink is pink from dragonfruit, while a pink drink is pink from strawberries. I have a low calorie recipe for a Starbucks Pink Drink with Cold Foam you might enjoy.
