Store frozen. Store frozen for up to three months.

    Recipe Tips

    • For extra protein, into the brownie stir in 2-3 tablespoon of hemp seeds or chia seeds.
    • Use refined coconut oil if you prefer no coconut flavor.
    • Store slices in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for up to a month.

    FAQS

Can I make this recipe nut-free?

Yes! Swap the almond flour with oat flour and replace peanut butter with sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version.

Do I have to use black cocoa?

Not at all. Black cocoa gives the layers a rich, “Oreo-style” color, but regular unsweetened cocoa powder works perfectly.

Can I make this ahead of time?

Absolutely. This slice keeps well in the freezer, so you can prepare it days in advance and just slice before serving.
