FAQS
Wellness shots give you a burst of nutrients that are quickly absorbed in your stomach. Depending on ingredients, the shots can ease inflammation which is the cause of many medical maladies, and boost your immunity, and ease nausea and support gut health.
Take one wellness shot on an empty stomach first thing in the morning before eating for fastest absorbency.
Take only one wellness shot a day. Taking more might irritate your stomach lining especially if they contain ginger or apple cider vinegar.
The negatives of wellness shots include a possible reaction to a certain ingredient, an upset or acidic stomach or esophagus, and even wearing down of tooth enamel.
The average size of a daily wellness shot is 2-3 ounces.

Mark Tilley
Hello, great recipes and will be using them to make a bunch of shots, but can you let me know how most of these recipes alkalize since many of the ingredients are quite acidic such as the lemon juice and apple vinegar, pineapple etc. I have read that ginger is alkaline but I am wondering if that is really the case, as ginger ale in acidic (I can measure ginger juice at work since we have a pH meter) Thanks for the great recipes.
Dee Dine
Good question! Lemon juice and those other juices you reference have an acidic pH before digested, but once metabolized by the body, produce alkaline byproducts which create an alkaline environment in the body, an environment which promotes health and prevents disease.[source]
Thomas
can these be made in a big batch and portioned out for the week?
Dee Dine
Yes, but I've read that technically nutrition drops slightly each passing day. Although I personally big batch every Sunday and my immunity boosters feel like they help me fight symptoms even on the following Saturday so I don't see a huge drop in nutritional power over 7 days.
Donna
I want to do this as well, I was hoping someone had calculated the recipe to fill a nutribullet to make a batch.
Percy
the ACV + Lemon + Turmeric + Cayenne Shot was so bad to take down, but I think it's making me feel better, I'm a little sick. Thanks!
Dee Dine
You can add a bit of orange juice to make it taste better in future. And hope you feel better soon! Dee
Izzy
These all look so good - especially the pineapple shot!
