This Starbucks pink drink with cold foam is a skinny copycat of the popular trenta pink drink. Make a more wholesome version with fresh strawberries, milk and sweet vanilla cold foam or chocolate cold foam.
This copycat Starbucks Pink Drink is just like Starbuck's popular Pink Drink, but it is lower in calories and carbs, and far more wholesome. This copycat Starbucks drink is often ordered as a trenta pink drink and as much as I love Starbucks, the ingredient list reads like a chemistry book.
My recipe, which makes a tall size, contains only fresh strawberries, green grapes and milk, with no artificially flavor syrups or freeze-dried fruit.
This skinny version has only 219 calories, 14 grams protein, and 1 gram of fat depending on the milk you choose. Add green tea to add caffeine and use a fruit juice to more closely mimic Starbucks syrups though this will hike the sugar.

Ingredients Needed
Strawberries. Use fresh, or frozen. Wash berries well and keep greens on.
Milk. Use a milk from a carton, not a can. Starbucks uses coconut milk but you can use any milk.
Green grapes. I used fresh green grapes, but for a closer match to the Starbucks flavor, you might want to use white grape juice or less wholesome Ocean Spray white cran-strawberry juice.
Maple syrup & vanilla extract. Flavors for the vanilla cold foam. Add unsweetened cocoa for chocolate cold foam.

Pink Drink with Chocolate Cold Foam
Make this popular version of the pink drink, a pink drink with chocolate cold foam. It seriously tastes like chocolate covered strawberries.
Step 1: To make chocolate cold foam, add a tablespoon of cocoa to milk, maple syrup, and vanilla. Froth with a hand frother or blend into a foam.
Step 2: Spoon the chocolate cold foam on top of your iced pink drink.
Things to Add
The Starbucks pink drink was launched in 2016 as part of the refresher drink series and contains strawberry acai syrup with coconut milk and is caffeinated, so to come closer to the Starbucks drink add:
- Frozen acai pulp, 2 tbsp
- Green tea, about ¼ cup
- Swap grapes for less healthy Ocean Spray white cran-strawberry juice to make the drink close in flavor and sweetness to the syrup-based pink drink Starbucks serves.
Make Ahead & Storage
You can make this pink drink ahead and store as long as you would any sweetened drink, refrigerated in a bottle for about 3 days. After that, freeze it into ice cubes, and melt to serve.
FAQS
The tall pink drink has about 35 milligrams of caffeine, about the same as a cup of tea and ⅓ as much as a cup of coffee.
The Starbucks Pink Drink from the store has very little fruit, is basically a processed syrup, and a coconut milk made with water, sugar and natural flavoring.
The trenta size drink at Starbucks holds 31 ounces. This recipe makes 12 ounces.
