    7 Quick Vegan Comfort Food Meals

    Seven vegan comfort food meals easy to make, delicious, filling, and healthy. They are plant based recipes, based on classics from all over the world. Recipes such as vegan Mediterranean paella, marinara chickpea meatballs, tandoori skillet meal, buckwheat noodle soup, Thai soup and more. Perfect for veganuary and beyond.

    What Are Vegan Comfort Foods?

    My vegan comfort food meals are plant-based remakes of childhood favorites, classics from countries all over the world, restaurant award winners and more. Classic dishes we know and love. I have removed the dairy and meat, and replaced those ingredients with flavorful and healthy plant-based options such as artichoke hearts and mushrooms instead of fish in paella, chickpeas instead of meat in marinara meatballs, and more. And it works! They are delicious. Many of these recipes have been made and shared by my Instagram community, so that is why I chose to package them here. So you can experience the benefit of tried and true vegan comfort food meals.

    Are These Recipes Good for Veganuary?

    Yes! These recipes come so close to the non-vegan classics, you'll be surprised. I hope they help you with your veganuary resolutions! For those who don't know, veganuary is a time when people choose to try veganism for the month of January. Read more about it here in a recent Washington Post article.

    Vegan foods are free of meat and dairy, and use ingredients that don't harm animals. And on my blog, I share recipes that use not only vegan ingredients, but whole food and non-processed as well when possible.
