Step by Step Instructions
For more detail, visit the complete and printable recipe at the bottom of this post, but here are general steps.
Step 1: Make a cup of lavender tea and allow it to cool.
Step 2: Add it and other ingredients to a blender and process.
To intensify the yellow color, add a ¼ teaspoon of turmeric. Optionally, add the zest of both lemons and whole culinary lavender buds to the top.
Variations
Make without yogurt. Yes, I don't include yogurt because I use zucchini to thicken instead. If you need to sweeten it, add some green grapes, they won't change the color. You can also add lime juice. Lime tends to give you the illusion that something is sweeter than it is.
Leafy greens to add. Add leafy greens if you wish, but the color will change to green or darken, but if you use a high-speed blender and toss in baby spinach or even baby kale to increase potassium. The flavor won't change at all.

Is it okay to replace plant yogurt with dairy yogurt? I mainly keep a vegan diet for everything else except when it comes to yogurt.
Dee
Hi Diane,
Thanks for stopping by! I'm not sure how dairy handles the acidity of lemon and lime together, but you could try a little at first and see how it goes. Best of luck, Dee xx.
